Nvidia CES 2023: how to watch the keynote live and what to expect

The Nvidia GeForce Beyond keynote at CES kicks off at the top of the hour and some of what's predicted to be announced may have already leaked.

Nvidia has been pretty quiet on what the topic of its upcoming live stream will be, but won't stop us from speculating. And with the leaked RTX 4070 Ti at the forefront of everyone's minds, it's not hard to guess what we're going to see. The graphics card looks set to be the unlaunched RTX 4080 12GB and if the details that slipped out are correct, it'll be sporting the cheapest price tag in the 40 series, as well as its new name.

The Nvidia CES 2023 keynote is set to kick off shortly, and hopefully won't run more than an hour! But here's when to buckle in, and where to watch.

Nvidia CES 2023: how to watch

Today's Nvidia CES 2023 starts at 4pm GMT / 11am ET / 8am PT. The keynote is taking place live at CES in Las Vegas but we can all tune in on YouTube. Just check out the embed below.

Nvidia hasn't confirmed what the stream will be about, but has teased updates on the latest 'breakthroughs in gaming, creating, and graphics technology'.

Nvidia CES 2023: what to expect

We have high hopes that the company will finally announce its new RTX 4070 Ti which is rumoured to be released in just two days' time, on January 5. If that's the case, we'll likely see a confirmation of the price, release date and specs of the card, putting those rumours to rest.

As of right now, the card is reportedly set to retail for $799. The specs we have seen so far suggest that the new GPU will be a repackage of the unlaunched RTX 4080 12GB card as they are identical in every way.

Given that a leaked internal slide. and information from Nvidia's site (which was taken down) serve as the sources for the leaks, it's likely that everything we've seen is going to be confirmed today. But of course, there can always be last-minute changes.

It's likely that the price point for these new cards will be low in response to the AMD 7900 series which was announced last month. These cards have incredibly low retail price points which is hopefully going to pave the way for Nvidia to follow suit. However, the RTX 4080 is quite expensive, so the RTX 4070 Ti might be the same.

And if we're really lucky, we could potentially see the RTX 4070 announced today as well, given that Nvidia often likes to announce multiple cards at once. But we'll have to wait and see.
