Nushrratt Bharuccha is scaring the wits out of people with the new trailer of her horror film ‘Chhorii’. At the film's trailer launch event, Nushrratt spoke to ETimes about her other big project ‘Ram Setu’, which also features Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Sharing her experience on the ambience of the set she says, “I am missing the fun right now because I love being with the ‘Ram Setu’ team. The fun that you’ve seen in one video is the kind of fun we have 24/7 on the set. We are bunch of mad people who are do mad things on the set. Between takes we play retro songs on loudspeakers. It is a complete laugh riot. It really feels like hum kaam nahi kar rahe hai, mazze kar rahe hai (we’re not working, but having fun). There is no pressure or any kind of stress while shooting for ‘Ram Setu’. The first day I walked on the set and Akshay sir walked in front of me, I thought ‘main kaise dialogue bolne waali hoon? (How will I be able to speak my dialogues?)’ but that feeling was for 5 minutes. Moments later I’d forgotten about it. He made the atmosphere so comfortable, so easy and normal that we just did the scenes. Such experiences are rare. Touchwood, I feel blessed when I am on sets with Akshay sir and Jacqueline.”
Nushrratt’s bond with Jacqueline has been pretty evident in their social media interactions of late. The actresses are often seen gifting each other and sharing these lovely memories on their Instagram stories. Nushrratt jokes, “I love Jacqueline. She has also gifted me things. I’ve put those updates on Instagram too, but no one carried them. Sab Jacqueline ka hi post carry karte hai. Muuh mat khulvao mera please (Everyone writes about Jacqueline's posts only. Don't get me started on that please).”
Another of Nushrratt’s films is ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ where she will be seen in a pivotal role. Talking about her role, Nushrratt says, “Raaj Shaandilyaa had narrated this story to me on the sets of ‘Dream Girl’. I told him whenever you do this project, do check it with me. But he took time to finalise this project. Janhit features an important and relevant story of a girl that is told with lots of humour. There’s a special message right at the end.”
