MUMBAI, India — Bollywood actor Nushrratt Bharuccha recently got a sprain in her leg during a song shoot for her ongoing film “Janhit Mein Jaari.”
The doctor, who examined Bharuccha, has advised her to give rest to her foot for a few days, resulting in a delay of the film shoot. The makers had created a huge set-up to shoot a massive Holi song, as per reports.
“We had started shooting for the Holi song on this massive set-up that was created, but during a highly choreographed dance sequence shoot, Nushrratt sprained her leg,” said a source from the production unit.
“Initially, she felt, she could take a break and continue shooting since a lot of crew members was a part of this. But after check-up and an X-Ray, the doctor has strictly advised resting her foot for 3-4 days.”
The makers of “Janhit Mein Jaari” have halted the shoot until Bharuccha recovers fully.
Labeled as “India’s first female franchise,” “Janhit Mein Jaari” will see Bharuccha essay the role of a family entertainer.
