Cauvery College of Nursing and St. Alphonsa College of Nursing had organised oath taking ceremony for their students enrolled for the year 2021-22 at the auditorium of Cauvery Group of Institutions here recently.
Gajanana Hegde, Principal, Government Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru, inaugurated the event. S.R. Gajendra Singh, Board of Studies Chairman, Nursing, RGUHS, Bengaluru, and I. Clement, Professor, RV College of Nursing, Bengaluru, were the guests of honour. G.R. Chandrashekar, Founder and Chairman, Cauvery Group of Institutions and Cauvery Heart and Multispeciality Hospital, Mysuru, and Sarala Chandrashekar, Chairperson, Suraksha Education Trust, Mysuru, were present.
Dr Hegde spoke about the roles and responsibilities of nurses and appreciated their role in the fight against COVID-19.
Dr. Chandrashekar, who presided, called upon the students to actively participate in establishing a healthy society.
Sheela Bernet, Principal, Cauvery College of Nursing, administered the oath to the students.
