Working in a nursery can be a nerve-wracking job at times, especially when you're tasked with making sure nothing goes wrong with the children you're tasked with looking after.
And one nursery worker on TikTok has lifted the lid on some of the most stressful parts of the job that can leave her dreading making phone calls to parents - even when things are completely out of her control.
Chelsey regularly posts videos in which she talks about her experience as a nursery worker, and in one clip she explained that she "hates" having to call parents when their child has a high temperature, as they can sometimes put the blame on the nursery for exposing the baby to illness.

In the video, Chelsey - who posts under the username @chel.ssey - mouthed along to audio which said: "Don't make me do it, don't make me go through it, can somebody get me a drink? Because it's hard, it's hard, it's really really hard."
And she wrote on the clip: "When you've got to phone a parent to say they need to collect their child because they have a temperature."
Chelsey's video has been liked over 2,000 times, with many fellow nursery workers sympathising with the woman's plight - as they said parents either blame them or try to make excuses that will allow their child to stay in the nursery.
One person said: "[When they say] 'can you call back in an hour and if it’s still not gone down I'll come to collect'."
As another wrote: "I actually had to this the other day because a child in the toddler's group had a temperature of 39.3. Parents weren't happy that they had to leave work."
"We had this incident today and it was a struggle, to say the least," a third wrote.
In another video, Chelsey sparked debate about the one thing she never tell parents - when their little one has taken their first steps while at nursery.
She wrote: “When a child takes their first steps at nursery. To tell or not to tell the parents, those are the questions … what’s everyone’s opinion?"
Most people were in agreement that you should never tell a parent if their baby has taken their first steps without them, as you could risk breaking the parent's heart.
Someone said: “Don't tell them. It would crush a lot of parents missing that milestone. If they don't know it happened then it didn't happen.”
While someone else added: “Don’t tell them! Let them tell you and think they saw it first!"
