Nursery desperate to have its people carrier returned after car is stolen in Bo'ness

A nursery in Bo'ness is urging people to keep an eye out for its branded people carrier after the vehicle was stolen at the weekend.

The vehicle was taken from outside The Kidz Stop on Dean Road at some point between Friday evening and Saturday morning.

Manager Caroline Gormley said it had been spotted in several places around West Lothian and Stirling in the following days.

She told Edinburgh Live the vehicle was used for after school classes for primary pupils as well as the nursery.

Caroline said: "We use the car to take the kids to after school classes. We'll have to make other arrangements now. "

Locals have been sharing her appeal on Facebook with some branding the theft "awful" and "disgusting."

The white people carrier has distinctive "The Kidz Stop" branding on it and has the registration SK64 YLR.

The theft has been reported to the police.
