A nurse who spent hours comforting an elderly man after he crashed into her car was stunned this morning after a big surprise on BBC Breakfast.
Lucy Duncan appeared on the show over the weekend after she helped the man, who told her he had coronavirus symptoms.
Lucy spent five hours with the man and accompanied him to hospital, where he sadly later died.
The nurse from Wigan said: "He was struggling to stay alive, I didn't know if I'd have to give him CPR.
"He said he had been self-isolating and had coronavirus symptom s and hadn't eaten for around ten days.
"Thankfully I've not had any symptoms of the virus so i feel quite lucky, I'm self isolating on day number six now.
"It's been so overwhelming I've had so many nice messages and comments, I'd do it again if it happened yesterday."
Breakfast hosts Dan Walker and Louise Minchin then played messages of support to Lucy from her family, friends and colleagues.

And then there was a very special message from boxer Anthony Joshua.
In the message he said: "How's it going Lucy I was speaking to my team and heard about what you went through.
"You showed compassion and bravery, stay safe, what you guys are doing in the NHS is unbelievable, you are the unsung heroes."
Lucy was shocked and said: "I thought I was overwhelmed before, but I am now, I'm speechless."

But there was a further surprise for Lucy as Louise told her to go to the front door.
Lucy's car has had to go into the garage following her crash with the elderly man, but when she opened the door there was a brand new car sat outside.

Her neighbours also gathered round to clap her and she said: "I just can't believe it."
And viewers watching at home loved the surprise - and Lucy's story.
