Nurse's children redecorate bedroom as surprise after her 12 hour frontline shift

A nurse was welcomed home from a long shift on the NHS front line to a redecorated bedroom thanks to her children.

Elizabeth Davidson was filmed as she walked into her freshly painted room, and her reaction was priceless.

Still in her NHS uniform she repeatedly said: "Oh My God," while looking at her offspring in shock.

Laura Davidson from Glasgow, shared her luxury bedroom makeover on Tik Tok, taking videos before and after the work was done.

The video was captioned: "My mum is a nurse and work is obviously really stressful right now.

"She is working 12 hour shifts 6 days a week. So this morning when she went to work, we decided to redecorate her room."

Laura told the Sun Online: "Me and my sister Gillian redecorated the room while she was out and it was a present from myself, Gillian and my other sister Collette who is currently living in Dubai."

Laura's two videos of the surprise have since been watched more than four million times.

Her cute gesture was praised by viewers, with one saying: "Please thank your mum and all NHS workers for being so brave and caring.

While another added: "This is the nicest video I've seen yet, how thoughtful.

"Thanks to your mum for doing an amazing job."
