A nurse was left fuming after ordering a Pizza Hut takeaway after a long shift - only to find the £15 pizza that arrived was "the size of her hand".
Claudia Jay, from Bristol, shared a hilarious picture on social media of the Vegan Stuffed Crust pizza inside a much larger box, with her hand placed next to the food for size comparison.
The image shows her fingers stretch beyond the small square of dough, despite Claudia being 5'2" with hands that "fit into a size small glove".
The 27-year-old said it was frustrating to receive such a small pizza for the price after a busy shift as a trauma nurse and took to social media to complain about the delivery.
She wrote on Twitter : "Not being funny, but £15 for a pizza the size of my hand?"
It sparked disbelief from other social media users, who branded it a "total rip off" and "daylight f***ing robbery", as one commented: "The cheek of them putting it in a box the size it should have been as well."
Another joked: "It was nice of them to send a pizza for that mouse earlier."
The post also caught the attention of Pizza Hut's social media team, who responded to say they were "disappointed" that Claudia was unsatisfied with her meal and asked for further details to investigate the issue.
Claudia said: "I had just finished a long shift as a nurse so I kinda just laughed it off as I knew there was no way I was going back to complain. I was too tired, so I took to twitter.
"I was just frustrated and annoyed that I'd spent that much on something that wasn't going to fill me up.
"I know £15 isn't a huge amount to a lot of people but it is to me.
"Pizza Hut told me to fill in an online form but the restaurant I got the pizza from doesn't come up on the drop down menu and since I told them that I've had no reply."
Pizza Hut told the Mirror: "We always want to provide our customers with the highest quality pizzas so we are sorry to hear that a customer was disappointed by their meal. We're in touch with Ms Jay to understand further detail and resolve any issues."
