A woman who worked as a nurse was found guilty of punching a patient in west suburban St. Charles.

Kristin M. Mullis, 41, was found guilty of aggravated battery, the Kane County sheriff’s office said.

Mullis, of St. Charles, was a certified nursing assistant at a long-term care center, the sheriff’s office said. On April 11, Mullins punched a man in her care when he “became agitated” while being moved to his bed after a shower.

She remains free on $500 bond and is set to appear in court again for motions and sentencing on March 12, the sheriff’s office said. Mullis faces two to five years in prison.
