A nursing assistant has turned her garden into a five star hotel for RABBITS as part of a quirky new venture.
Former Miss Ayrshire, Harriet Peace, has spent the last few months helping to deliver Covid vaccines across the region.
Now she's looking to provide care for her other passion with luxury boarding facilities.
Harriet, 27, told Ayrshire Live: "I've been with the NHS for nine years and absolutely love caring for people.
"But my other huge passion has always been animals and lockdown gave me a chance to think about this idea.
"I rescued both of my rabbits, Penelope and Fluffy, and they get spoiled rotten.
"So I thought why not offer that kind of service to anyone who needs it for their pets.
"My partner Calvin has been really supportive and encouraged me to go for it — I think he accepts the garden is now just taken over!"
Harriet, of Mauchline, has had a purpose-built boarding house installed along with outdoor runs for her 'Penelope & Pals' project.
The 'hotel' will only be available to one rabbit — or household of rabbits — at any time, ensuring "the best possible care," said Harriet.
She added: "My life has always been linked to animals in some way.
"When I won Miss Ayrshire in 2017, I had to spend my year as winner using my profile to fundraise for various charities.
"I did a fair bit for the SSPCA during that time and one of my things was to climb Goatfell with my cat, Tango.
"I also climbed Ben Nevis for Cats Protection so you could say animals have always followed me wherever I go."
