The religious order 'Sisters of Charity' have asked property agents to put the landmark Stella Maris Convent and Retreat House on Howth Head on the market.
The convent, which has been owned by the congregation for over 125 years, will today land on the property market by joint agents Lisney and Farley Property for €3.5 million.
According to property.ie, the two storey Victorian residence comprises of 8 bedrooms, Breakfast Room, Kitchen and Utility Rooms, two bathrooms, a WC and Shower Room.

The cash brought from the sale of the convent will be used by the Sisters of Charity in their continuing work with people affected by human trafficking, in their efforts to lessen the effects of climate change on poorer communities, to promote education.
