After a week when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 's job as Manchester United manager was in seemingly inescapable jeopardy, Tottenham Hotspur boss Nuno Espirito Santo now finds himself subject to calls for the sack from angry supporters.
Spurs fell 3-0 to the Red Devils on Saturday evening, producing a lifeless display that saw Nuno's side struggle to break United down, failing to register a single shot on target during the Premier League clash.
The Portuguese has overseen three defeats in Tottenham's last four games, with their only win coming via a narrow victory over Burnley in the League Cup on Wednesday.
Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring on 39 minutes on Saturday, volleying in Bruno Fernandes ' pinpoint pass over the Spurs back line.
Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford then scored in the second half as United were rarely troubled by the hosts.
Despite Heung-min Son looking dangerous in the early exchanges, Tottenham failed to trouble David De Gea enough as Harry Kane remained on one Premier League goal this season following his summer transfer saga.
Himself admitting Spurs are "not on the right track," Nuno's difficult start to life in north London was only made worse when his decision to substitute Lucas Moura was met with a swarm of boos from around the stadium.
"We conceded in a poor way," he told Sky Sports.
"We lose [many] balls, allowed too many counter attacks, we were not able to really break them.
"They were organised, three centre-halfs, difficult. We had a good chance in the beginning but [we did] not [play] well enough."
On the other hand, Solskjaer was delighted with his side, describing their performance as "excellent."

"Maybe the first six or seven minutes we let them have a little bit too much of the ball," the Norwegian, who changed formation for the first time in 37 Premier League games, also admitted to Sky.
"The experience came through. I was told that's the oldest team I've picked for Man United and it was time for it - to put it that way.
"I've been here more or less three years now and Tuesday's training performance from Edinson Cavani was probably the best performance anyone's put in in a training performance.
"So the old men led from the front."
Quizzed on this week's relentless talk of the sack, Solskjaer responded: "They'll play for the club no matter what.
"This isn't about me, as I said before the game, it's about us improving as a group together.
"If one of them doesn't give everything they have for Man United, they won't play."
