Nuno da Costa back on Nottingham Forest's radar with €2.5m transfer possible - report

Nuno da Costa has again been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest.

The Reds were linked with a move for the Cape Verde international, currently with French top tier side Strasbourg, last week but the brakes were put on any move because of injury .

da Costa, 28, is a striker who has two goals to his name in 20 appearances this season.

The player has now come back onto Forest's radar, report French newspaper L'Alsace via website onefootball , with Sabri Lamouchi's side poised set to stump up around €1.5 million for the former Valenciennes forward.

Strasbourg, though, want another million on top of that if they are to be parted with da Costa.

He has also turned out for Aubagne FC and has 37 goals in 135 career appearances.

Sabri Lamouchi is looking for another striker to bolster his side's promotion push to the Premier League.

Forest have also been linked with a move for Glenn Murray, while Dwight Gayle has also been mentioned as a possible target.

The Reds completed their first deals of the window yesterday, with Adama Diakhaby arriving from Huddersfield Town and Jack Robinson departing to Premier League Sheffield United.
