Number of homes in Belfast evacuated as 'suspicious object' found

A number of homes have been evacuated in Belfast following the discovery of a suspicious object.

Authorities are currently in attendance at the security alert in the Norglen Parade area in the west of the city.

A spokesman said: "A number of homes have been evacuated whilst the suspicious object is being examined.

"There are no further details at present."
