Nuisance driver who performed 'doughnuts' in car park has vehicle seized by police

An anti-social driver who performed "doughnuts" in a Liverpool car park got his just deserts when Merseyside Police seized his car and reported him for traffic offences.

The driver, already warned by police for previous anti-social motoring offences, was caught attempting dangerous manoeuvres to make the car skid around in circles in a public place.

Police, who say he has "not learnt his lesson", decided to throw the book at the driver by seizing the car and issuing a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) which could result in a ban and fine.

Merseyside Police tweeted at 12.26am: "This vehicle had previously been warned under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act after it'd been used anti socially in the last year.

"The lesson obviously hadn't been learnt after it was seen doing doughnuts on a carpark. The vehicle has been seized and the driver reported."
