Advice and prediction
The Lakers will be without Dennis Schroder and could be missing LeBron James on Monday, but his status has not yet been announced. James was pulled late on Sunday night due to ankle soreness, and coach Frank Vogel could look to protect his superstar in a back-to-back situation.
Given the way the Lakers and Nuggets have been playing, respectively, it’s difficult to come up with a reason to bet against Denver on Monday. The season series is tied at 1-1, with each side winning a blowout at home. I’m going to assume LeBron plays very limited minutes if he plays at all, and take the red-hot Nuggets -3.5. If James is ruled out officially, that spread will only grow.
