NTA viewers point out Loose Women stars’ ‘fuming’ reaction to This Morning winning Best Daytime show

The Loose Women ladies were seen “fuming” at the National Television Awards last night as rival show This Morning won Best Daytime, according to viewers.

Fans spotted the less-than-pleased reactions from the Loose Women stars caught on camera, as they remained in their seats while This Morning’s Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby picked up their award for the show onstage.

Loose Women panellists Kaye Adams, Linda Robson, and the rest of the crew looked unimpressed by the win, viewers pointed out, particularly after This Morning’s recent Queuegate drama involving its co-hosts.

One person wrote on Twitter: “The @loosewomen clearly not happy about @thismorning picking the #Daytime #NTA #NTAAwards."

Another said: “Take it the voting was before queue gate! Loose Women looked fuming.”

“Anyone else see the loose women nod there [sic] head with the eye roll when holly n Phil won?” someone else asked.

A fourth viewer found the reaction hilarious, as they tweeted: “Seeing @loosewomen‘s Linda Robsons face & reaction when they announced @thismorning as the #NTA winner was so so funny...ahahaha."

Another added: “Loose Women being a bit shady there at the This Morning win #NTAAwards.”

It seemed the Loose Women ladies weren’t the only ones upset by This Morning’s win.

Hosts of the show Schofield, 60, and Willoughby, 41, were met with a chorus of boos in the O2 Arena, where the NTAs were held, as their show was announced the winner.

This comes after the pair sparked public fury last month as they were accused of “skipping the queue” to see the Queen lying-in-state.

Despite the negative response, Schofield and Willoughby appeared excited to have their show take home Best Daytime, after This Morning won last year as well.

As they collected their award, Schofield said: “Don’t think we ever get complacent and please don’t think we ever take this for granted. This means so much to us every year, especially this year.

“We have the most amazing team. I have the best friend, we have the best boss.”

Willoughby added: “Thank you so much, this award means everything because it is voted by you, and I think This Morning has a very special relationship with you. You make our show for us, you really do.”
