The Northern Territory has cancelled its COVID-19 hotspot declaration for Perth and parts of southern Western Australia.
Perth and the Peel and South West regions were added to the hotpot list after the areas went into a five-day lockdown on Sunday amid fears of a virus outbreak.
Chief Health Officer Hugh Heggie on Friday revoked the declaration after there were no new virus cases diagnosed in the three areas since the original case was found.
People arriving in the NT from the areas will no longer have to undertake mandatory supervised quarantine.
Anyone currently in mandatory quarantine from Perth and WA's Peel and South West regions will also be able to leave.
Dr Heggie says WA Health's efforts to contract trace and the five-day lockdown in the state capital and two regions are likely to have prevented the virus spreading.
"I have been keeping a close eye on the situation in Perth ... and I am satisfied with the quick public health response by WA," Dr Heggie said.
