Two young children are dead after being hit by a car while sitting in a pram.
The children, aged one and five, were found by emergency services in Cabramatta, in Sydney's southwest, following reports of a crash about 3.15pm on Wednesday.
"NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the children at the scene, before they were taken to hospital in a critical condition, where they have since died," police said.
A 33-year-old woman with the children was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
A 56-year-old man who was driving the car was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
NSW Police's crash investigation team is looking into how the incident happened.
