Two former Roads and Maritime Services workers are being investigated by NSW's corruption body for allegedly receiving kickbacks for awarding contracts worth $41 million over a decade.
The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption says it will hold a public inquiry starting on May 10 into former RMS employees Alexandre Dubois and Craig Steyn.
It is alleged that between 2009 and June 2019, Mr Dubois and Mr Steyn awarded in excess of $41 million in RMS contracts to companies with which they were associated, in exchange for receiving benefits.
ICAC chief commissioner Peter Hall QC will preside at the public inquiry and counsel assisting the commission will be Jason Downing SC and Caroline Spruce.
It is expected the public inquiry will last for six weeks.
The commission will live stream the proceedings of Operation Paragon via its website www.icac.nsw.gov.au.
