NSW:

* Six deaths in the 24 hours to 4pm Thursday

* 20,050 new cases

* 1060 hospitalisations, including 32 in ICU

VICTORIA:

* Nine deaths in the 24 hours to midnight Thursday

* 9036 new cases

* 199 hospitalisations, including 23 in ICU and five on ventilators

TASMANIA:

* 1779 new cases on Thursday

* 23 hospitalisations, including three in ICU

* Five hospital patients are being treated for COVID-19

ACT:

* 1123 new cases on Thursday

* 37 hospitalisations, including four in ICU, with one requiring ventilation
