NSW has recorded no 'unknown' COVID-19 cases overnight.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced the good news at a press conference on Wednesday where she also flagged changes to the NSW-Victorian border restrictions.
NSW recorded 10 new coronavirus cases in the 24 hours to 8pm, but all with known links.
One of the state's previously reported cases has also been excluded after further investigations, bringing the total number of cases in NSW to 3,996.
Of the ten new cases, six were overseas travellers in hotel quarantine and four were locally acquired and linked to a known case or cluster.
The Premier said that easing restrictions in Victoria meant the border closure public orders could be changed.
"Now restrictions have been eased in regional Victoria, we are similarly doing that for our border communities to have consistency," she said.
"So whatever you can do in regional Victoria you can do in those [border] communities.
"We're also increasing the number of towns, I think around Shepparton, that will be included in the border community and we will provide hundreds of exemptions for sheerer and harvesters to make sure critical ag workers are getting across the border."
Ms Berejiklian said the amended public health orders were currently with the NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard and should be signed today or tomorrow.
