NSW policeman charged with sex offences

A 29-year-old constable from NSW has been charged with two sex offences and suspended with pay. (AAP)

A serving NSW police officer has been suspended with pay after being charged with sex offences.

A NSW Police statement says officers attached to Professional Standards Command began investigating reports of misconduct in July.

A 29-year-old male constable - attached to Western Region - was arrested and charged with sexual intercourse without consent and sexually touching another person without consent.

He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Orange Local Court on January 24.
