NSW man charged with two murders

A man will face court charged with murdering two people found stabbed to death in Oberon, NSW. (AAP)

A man has been charged with murdering two people found stabbed to death at a home in Oberon in the NSW central Tablelands.

The 46-year-old man allegedly murdered a 68-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman whose bodies were found early on Friday.

The alleged killer was arrested at Penrith in western Sydney later on Friday.

He was found with hand injuries and taken to Nepean Hospital where he remained under police guard until his release from hospital on Sunday.

He has been charged with two counts of murder and refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on Monday.
