NSW man charged with child exploitation

A 45-year-old man from NSW has been arrested after allegedly uploading child abuse images. (AAP)

A NSW man is accused of uploading explicit child abuse images to a social media platform.

The 45-year-old man from Manildra in the state's central west was arrested on Wednesday night.

Detectives searched his home and seized electronic storage devices and computers.

He was taken to Orange Police Station and charged with using a carriage service for child abuse material.

Police said the man was refused bail and he is expected to appear in Orange Local Court on Thursday.
