A NSW driver has been fined almost $2000 after they were caught speeding more than 100km/h above the speed limit on the Barton Highway.
The driver, a 22-year-old from Bermagui on the NSW South Coast, was clocked as driving 196km/h in an 80km/h zone in the eastbound lanes near Crace about 1.40pm on Saturday.
The driver was behind the wheel of a blue Ford Falcon sedan with NSW plates at the time of the incident.

Following the incident, the driver was fined $1841 and six demerit points.
Wet weather and heavy rain has hampered road conditions across the ACT during the weekend.
An ACT police spokesman said it was raining at the time the driver was seen speeding on the Barton Highway.
"Police are urging all drivers to stick to the road rules for everyone's safety, and to be especially careful while driving during the current inclement weather," the spokesman said.
