NSW COVID-19 exposure sites: NSW Parliament shuts doors after MP contracts virus while dining in Paddington

Sydney's list of COVID-19 exposure sites continues to grow, with the heart of NSW's government now being added as a potential hotspot after a senior MP contracted the virus ahead of the state budget.

Parliament House on Macquarie Street has shut its doors after NSW Agriculture Minister Adam Marshall revealed he tested positive for the virus after dining with colleagues at a restaurant in Paddington on Monday night.

He was one of four Nationals MP — alongside Trevor Khan, Steph Cooke and Ben Franklin — who went into isolation yesterday after attending at Christo's Pizzeria in Paddington.

Mr Marshall said he was told by contact tracers he almost certainly contracted the virus at the restaurant.

Several other MPs — including Health Minister Brad Hazzard — and their staff  are also isolating after being told by the health department they were likely close contacts.

NSW Health is constantly updating the information in this table below.
