A NSW detective senior constable has been charged with drink-driving on the state's south coast.
In May an investigation began into reports the 40-year-old police officer drove his car under the influence of alcohol while off-duty.
The officer was issued a court attendance notice on August 9 to appear in court.
NSW Police said the officer's employment status was "under review" and his driver's licence had been suspended.
He will appear in Cooma Local Court on Wednesday September 22.
