NSW chasing 295 to beat SA in Shield

The Sheffield Shield match between NSW and South Australia is set for a tense finish with the Blues chasing 275 more runs to beat the Redbacks at Adelaide Oval.

At lunch on the final day the visitors were 0-20 with 67 overs remaining in the day.

David Warner (13) and Nick Larkin (3) were the not out batsmen, the former making his intentions clear with three early boundaries.

South Australia had declared their second innings shortly before lunch at 6-178, an overall lead of 294 runs.

Jake Lehmann was not out on 35 with Chadd Sayers (12) the other undefeated batsman.

Nathan Lyon was the pick of the bowlers with 2-44 while Test teammate Mitchell Starc, who at one stage had figures of 2-0, finished with 2-55.
