NSW businesses being encouraged to go bush

Government leaders including John Barilaro and Gladys Berejiklian are helping businesses go bush. (AAP)

Businesses are being encouraged to decentralise with the NSW government providing a new "concierge service" to help companies move headquarters to regional areas.

Deputy Premier John Barilaro said service would help companies develop business plans and provide advice about establishing jobs, offices and headquarters in regional towns and cities.

The state government has already announced public sector jobs would be advertised statewide with 'regional location encouraged' and is now calling on big business to follow suit.

The Department of Regional NSW concierge service will provide companies considering relocating with expert local advice.

Offices in regional NSW could suit large banks, finance, technology and telecommunication companies, Mr Barilaro said.

"This is about building a safer and stronger regional NSW, creating jobs for locals and enabling big business and corporates to flourish in the regions," he added.
