NSW boy injured in rollercoaster ride fall

A boy is being airlifted to hospital after falling from an amusement ride on a NSW property. (AAP)

A five-year-old boy has been injured in an accident on a mini-rollercoaster on a rural NSW property.

The boy suffered suspected leg and wrist fractures after falling off the "small amusement ride" on a Tingha property, Westpac Rescue Helicopter said in a statement.

He was treated at the scene and was due to be airlifted to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.

The extent of his injuries is still unknown, while the accident is believed to have occurred on a farm-stay operation, a Westpac Rescue Helicopter spokesman says.
