NSPCC charity worker probed over 'rubber fetish sex videos at Travelodge'

A children's charity worker is under investigation after allegedly filming himself performing a sex act at a Travelodge.

The NSPCC employee has been put on leave while bosses probe videos uploaded to a porn site and shared on social media.

One clip features a man, said to be the worker, pleasuring himself while wearing fetish gear in his hotel room.

The caption reads: “Just chilling out in rubber in a Travelodge whilst on a work trip. Had a w*** whilst watching some poen [sic].”

The NSPCC has long campaigned about the dangers of online pornography.

But there is no suggestion the allegations involve children.

The employee, whose identity we are not publishing, has worked at the NSPCC for several years.

Until this week, details of his role appeared on the internet along with his name and photograph.

The NSPCC told us: “This is a personnel matter and is being dealt with internally.”

A charity source added that the worker is now on leave while the investigation takes place. Family law barrister Sarah Phillimore was among those who raised concerns about the employee’s alleged behaviour.

She alerted the Charities Commission to the claims.

Last night the watchdog said it was aware of the allegations and the NSPCC’s response and had contacted the charity.

A spokesman said: “Concerns have been raised with us about the NSPCC’s handling of a safeguarding matter involving a member of staff.

“The public rightly expect charities to be safe environments for all who come into contact with them.”

Yesterday the employee declined to comment.

An NSPCC spokesman said: “We are aware of serious allegations made against an employee and are undertaking an internal investigation.

“It is not appropriate to comment any more while this process is underway.”
