Melbourne Storm set up a chance to go back-to-back as a double from Billy Slater in his AAMI Park farewell gives the home side a crushing win over Cronulla.
Slater scored two first-half tries as the Storm raced out to a 20-0 lead at the main break, and nothing the Sharks could do in the second 40 minutes could turn things around.
However the Storm full-back may have played the final game of his career, as his shoulder charge on Cronulla winger Sosaia Feki — which stopped a potential try — could mean a suspension which would rule him out of next week's decider.
