'Nowhere to hide' - Arsenal fans protest as Unai Emery nears the sack

Arsenal manager Unai Emery was met by disgruntled supporters during the Europa League clash with Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday, where another poor result left the Spanish boss on the brink.

The Gunners took the lead shortly before the interval via Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and looked good value for their advantage, creating some decent opportunities shortly after the restart.

However, two goals separated by just nine minutes from Daichi Kamada turned the match on it's head and, despite the low attendance, the atmosphere quickly turned.

As the cameras panned to the crowds, two supporters were shown displaying a message to Emery which showed their anger - as they called for action to be taken.

Holding the signs above their head, it read: 'Emery out. No tactics, no formation, nowhere to hide'.

The result for Arsenal extends a winless streak across all competitions to seven matches, which includes a drab showing in a 2-2 draw against a struggling Southampton side at the weekend.

Prior to the recent international break, the Arsenal hierarchy issued a vote of confidence to Emery but, with results still under par and the attitude in the stadium turning, the general feeling is that a parting of ways is inevitable.

Arsenal tackle Norwich City away from home at the weekend, the start of a busy period which also sees the Gunners face off against Brighton and West Ham.
