Now, farmers' group from southern Haryana opens front against three farm laws

CHANDIGARH: A farmers' group from southern Haryana on Wednesday took out a tractor rally on Delhi-Jaipur highway stretch in Rewari to protest the three new farm laws introduced by the Centre.

Yogendra Yadav, the member of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha and founder of Swaraj Abhiyan flagged off the tractor rally organised by Bawal Khap 84, an umbrella body of khap and kisan panchayats in Bawal -Rewari area.

Notably, the farmers sitting on Shahajanpur-Kheri borders are largely from Rajsthan and other parts of the country.

Though farmers from Rewari and Bawal had been joining them but the numbers were almost negligible

"This agitation started from north with the farmers of Punjab and north Haryana. Other states too joined the agitation at times. But in southern Haryana, Bawal 84 has come as a savior of the agitation on this side . This assembly and march will create the history in southern Haryana and would take the ongoing agitation to new heights," said Yadav.
