Budget aupermarket Aldi has launched a food parcel you can only buy online.
From today (April 17, 2020) the store is offering a package of essential items for customers who can't go to stores to shop due to coronavirus lockdown.
The Aldi food parcel costs £24.99 and contains 22 items of food and cleaning products.
To ensure supply Aldi is limiting them to one per customer, per week.
You can buy one by visiting the Aldi website, adding an Aldi Food Parcel to your basket and enter your delivery information.
Complete the purchase and your parcel will be delivered, contact-free, as soon as possible, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Fritz Walleczek, managing director for corporate responsibility at Aldi, said: "We are committed to providing quick, safe and affordable access to food for all our customers and understand that, for some, visiting one of our stores is not an option at the moment.
"We’re constantly looking for new and better ways to support our customers in these uncertain times and I’m hopeful that these food parcels will make life a little easier for some of the country’s most at-risk people."
