MUMBAI: A day after she was granted permission to travel to Abu Dhabi and attend IIFA (International Indian Film Academy Awards), actor Rhea Chakraborty (28) moved a special NDPS court on Thursday submitting that now she was not “desirous” of availing her passport from the NCB and travel abroad.
She said she was earlier unaware that a “lookout notice” was issued against her by some other investigating agency.
The court told the NCB to take note and not hand over the passport. Chakraborty is accused in the 2020 drugs case allegedly relating to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. On Wednesday, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde submitted that she has been invited to the event by IIFA’s director and co-founder.
