Novus streamlines services as part of plans to increase turnover to £250m - and create 250 new jobs

Maintenance and construction contractor Novus Property Solutions has 'streamlined' its business as part of its five-year growth plan.

The £160 million business – which has 21 offices across the UK including its Stoke-on-Trent headquarters – announced in June that it wants to create 250 new jobs and increase its turnover to more than £250 million by 2026.

Now it has 'repositioned' the business into three dedicated sections in a move which bosses say will help the company to achieve its long-term growth ambitions.

Spearheaded by recently-appointed CEO Steve Davies, the project – which has been implemented in response to market feedback – will see the entire Novus business sit under three services – Maintain, Assure and Projects.

The Maintain service will focus on the company’s core activity of property maintenance and refurbishment, primarily within the housing sector, and the Assure service will provide a range of compliance services such as passive fire protection and electrical and gas testing.

Meanwhile the Projects service will consolidate the company’s new build and refurbishment offering – working with clients within the leisure, retail, education, healthcare and housing sectors throughout the Midlands and North West.

Novus CEO Steve Davies said: "The maintenance and construction markets are rapidly evolving, and we recognise that now is the perfect opportunity to better align our operations with market demands.

"By streamlining our services and offering dedicated delivery teams, we will be able to grow our client base through a longer-term and partnership-based approach while also retaining our existing clients by continuing to provide the excellent levels of customer service we’re known for.

"To achieve our five-year growth plan, we need to remain at the forefront of our industry, and the streamlining of our services is the first step towards our ultimate goal of becoming the leading contractor of choice in our industry."
