Novelist, Ray BLK and more to perform in-store gigs at Oxford Street Christmas lights switch-on

Novelist and Ray BLK are among the artists set to perform at the Oxford Circus Christmas lights switch-on.

The famous shopping street will turn on its festive illuminations on November 6 and will celebrate the occasion with a number of in-store gigs.

MC and producer Novelist, who received a Mercury Prize nomination this year for his album Novelist Guy, will appear at JD Sports. Meanwhile, Ray BLK, the rising R&B star from Catford, will take to the stage at the Nike store.

Isaac Waddington, the jazz-inspired musician who first rose to prominence on Britain’s Got Talent, is being hosted by Uniqlo, while Kara Marni will bring her poppy blend of soul and R&B to Tezenis.

Capital XTRA presenters Yinka Bokinni and Robert Bruce will warm-up for each act with DJ sets ahead of the performances.

Oxford Street will be one of the first major London spots to switch on its Christmas lights — more details on that and all the other events can be found here.
