Novak Djokovic will face Milos Raonic in Australian Open quarter-finals after victory over Diego Schwartzman

Novak Djokovic will face Milos Raonic in the quarter-finals of the Australian Open after his straight-sets victory over Diego Schwartzman.

The seven-time winner was not at his best against the Argentine, but his class shone through on Rod Laver Arena, but he will have to raise his game to beat an in-form Raonic.

Raonic booked his place an hour or so before Djokovic, as his eliminated Marin Cilic in straight sets.

Once again it was Raonic’s service game which impressed, with the Canadian landing no fewer than 35 aces in the match.

"This will be a different match-up to he one today," said Djokjovic. "Raonic is one of tallest and strongest players. He's also got one of biggest serves. I'm ready for missiles.

"One of key elements will be how well I'm returning. It's good to see Milos healthy. He's a great guy and good friend."
