Novak Djokovic vs Lucas Pouille
Australian Open semi-final
Date: Friday January 25
Court/start time: 8.30am GMT, Rod Laver
Novak Djokovic meets Lucas Pouille for a place in the 2019 Australian Open final.
The world no.1 is out to win his seventh grand slam title Down Under - a triumph that would make him the competition’s most successful male player ahead of Roger Federer and Roy Emerson.
Djokovic endured a miserable early exit last year before undergoing elbow surgery but enjoyed an inexorable rise back to the summit of men’s tennis in the second half of 2018.
Standing in his way of a 15th grand slam is Pouille. The world no. 31 saw off Canada’s Milos Raonic to book his place in the final four. The Frenchman is competing in a semi-final for the first time in his career.

The match has an approximate start time of 8.30am on Friday January 25. The match will be played in the Rod Laver Arena.
