Novak Djokovic has cruised to victory at Wimbledon, taking his fourth crown with a straight sets win over South African Kevin Anderson.
Djokovic was dominant for most of the match, sealing the win 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (7-3) in a one-sided final.
Anderson tried his best but could not summon the energy or the will to match Djokovic after his marathon semi-final win over American John Isner, which ended 26-24 in the fifth set after six-and-a-half hours.
Djokovic was also taken to five sets by Rafael Nadal in a semi-final which went over two days, but he still had plenty in reserve as he clinched victory in two hours and 19 minutes.
The win gives the Serbian star a 13th Grand Slam title, trailing only Roger Federer on 20, Rafael Nadal on 17 and Pete Sampras on 14.
The victory is also his first major title since he won the French Open two years ago.
More to come.
