Notts County unveil new signing ahead of Dagenham trip

Notts County have confirmed the signing of Harrogate Town midfielder Tom Walker.

The 24-year-old has joined the Magpies on loan until January 3.

Walker joined Harrogate this summer after scoring nine goals in 24 National League appearances while at Stockport County and AFC Fylde last season.

Walker, who hails from Salford, is a product of Bolton Wanderers’ academy.

He has made 12 appearances for Harrogate, who are in their maiden season in the Football League.

Notts boss and Walker will face the media later today, with the Magpies due to visit Dagenham & Redbridge in the National League on Wednesday night.

County are on a high after Friday’s 3-0 win over Wealdstone which left Ardley’s side seventh in the table with games in hand on most of the sides above them.
