Notts County's trip to Solihull Moors off following early pitch inspection

Notts County's National League fixture with Solihull Moors has been postponed following a pitch inspection conducted at midday.

An initial pitch inspection was set to take place at 1:00pm this afternoon, however, the referee concluded that there would be no possibility of the game being played, meaning the Magpies have now had consecutive postponements due to the freezing temperatures.

In anticipation of this outcome, on Monday Notts suggested to their opponents that the match could be moved to Wednesday but this was not met with their approval.

A rearranged date will be announced in due course, with refunds offered to ticket holders once this has been confirmed.

Luke Williams' side's next match will now be this weekend, hosting Halifax Town in their first 3pm kick-off on a Saturday since late November, with Notts having not played in almost two weeks by the time the game comes around.
