Notts County's FA Cup opponents in the first round are confirmed

Notts County will face Ebbsfleet in the FA Cup first round proper after Kevin Watson’s side won their replay with Woking.

Alex Reid’s goal sealed their date with the Magpies with the two teams now set to go head to head on the weekend of November 9.

Notts will be hoping to fare better than their last trip to 'Fleet where they squandered the lead on two occasions to be held to a 2-2 draw back in August.

Ben Turner had put Notts ahead only for 'Fleet to equalise through Josh Umerah on the stroke of half-time.

Regan Booty then gave Notts the lead again straight after the interval but a Jim O’Brien own goal meant 'Fleet rescued a point.

The club have since replaced manager Garry Hill with Watson and he says he is hoping to get the job on a full-time basis.

Notts will still hope to be in excellent form when they make the trip south with Neal Ardley’s side having lost just two of their last 15 games which has propelled them into the National League play-off places.
