Notts County player ratings vs Woking as Magpies suffer second successive defeat

Notts County were beaten at home to Woking as the visitors romped to a 4-1 success at Meadow Lane.

Ruben Rodrigues had put the Magpies ahead but strikers from Inih Effiong, Moussa Diarra and two from Tahvon Campbell in a dreadful 20 minutes secured the points for the visitors.

Magpies writer Leigh Curtis was at Meadow Lane and here are his players ratings from Meadow Lane.

Anthony Patterson: The on-loan Sunderland goalkeeper oozes confidence as shown by some of his short-range passing but couldn't be blamed for the goals. 6

Aaron Nemane: Lovely feet and could have scored himself when he raced through on goal only for a poor touch to let him down. Nonetheless, he was impressive and the 70-yard run in the second half was just incredible. 7

Richard Brindley: Was defending really well and will be absolutely seething at how Notts had gone from dominance to weakness. 4

Ciaran Brennan: The young defender produced another really strong performance against two centre-forwards for the majority of the game but it all came apart at the seams in the final 15. 5

Alex Lacey: Defended with a very cool head and he was rarely in any trouble for the majority of the game but as soon as Woking equalised, everything seemed to crumble collectively. 5

Adam Chicksen: Played an integral role in the build-up to the first goal with a penetrating run. Defended his side of the pitch really well too. 5

Matty Palmer: Another solid display in the heart of midfield but couldn't halt the tide in the final 20 minutes.- 5

Jim O'Brien: The pass he delivered to Nemane who failed to make the most of his vision was worth the entrance fee alone. Was fuming at how Notts threw away the lead. 5

Ruben Rodrigues: Needed a goal and duly got one which showed all the qualities we have come to expect. One touch and bang, it flew into the bottom corner. 5

Kyle Wootton: Worked tirelessly along the frontline and while the chances were few and far between, couldn't fault his effort. 5

Kairo Mitchell: Was a handful on occasions but never really had a consistent spell in the game where he could make a difference. 5
