Notts County head coach Ian Burchnall names team to face Wealdstone

Notts County head coach Ian Burchnall made two changes to his side as he looked to maintain the Magpies' unbeaten start to the season against Wealdstone tonight.

Midfielder Jim O'Brien and Dion Kelly-Evans were both rested for the clash against the Stones and were replaced by Ed Francis and striker Kairo Mitchell.

It appears as though those changes would lead to Burchnall playing a 4-3-3 formation compared to the 3-5-2 Notts have preferred for much of the campaign.

As usual, Sam Slocombe was in goal behind the back four of Richard Brindley, Alex Lacey, Kyle Cameron and Joel Taylor.

In midfield were Francis, Matt Palmer and Ruben Rodrigues while up front Kyle Wootton led the line alongside Callum Roberts and Mitchell.

There was no place in the squad for defender Connell Rawlinson who is out for the next two to four weeks as a result of an injury he picked up in training.
