Notts County overcame an FA Cup scare as they secured their place in the first round proper by beating Belper 2-1 at Meadow Lane.
The Magpies were a goal down when Danny Gordon scored an absolute thunderbolt from 20 yards which left Notts anxious they would face an upset.
But they equalised when Enzio Boldewijn drove in from the edge of the box although it appeared to nick off Kristian Dennis before finding the bottom corner.
Notts continued to create chances with Kristian Dennis having one of those games as he missed a catalogue of chances to make the game safe.
In the end it was left to Regan Booty to set-up the winner as he flicked a pass into the path of Kyle Wootton who coolly slipped the ball beyond Ryan Musslewhite.
Belper poured forward in search of an equaliser and created some anxious moments for the hosts, but Notts held firm to book their date in Monday's first round draw.
