Notts County fans raise close to £10,000 in two days as they rally behind club and Age UK

Notts County fans have raised an astonishing £9,600 in just two days as part of a crowdfunding scheme to help the club and Age UK.

The Magpies are currently giving supporters the chance to purchase pre-orders for a host of unique packages next season which includes fans attending pre-match press conferences.

Ten per cent of all the cash raised will go to help Age UK whose services have never been more crucial with the country on lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The funds will  also help the club's immediate cash flow and fans have flocked to make donations while the players and Lifeline have also made contributions to the cause.

The chance to attend a pre-match press conference has already been sold out which cost £25.

But there are a number of other packages available to fans which start at just £10 which would see them receive a letter from manager Neal Ardley thanking them for their generosity.

The club aims to raise £20,000 through the initiative and is already close to halfway with just 26 days remaining.

If you would like to contribute to the cause then you can do so by clicking here.
